Vide order dated 19.09.2024, the Predecessor Bench had quashed the subject FIR and all proceedings arising therefrom and had, as a measure of atonement directed the petitioners to donate 20 sets of electronic glucometers to the Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Sector-6. Rohini, Delhi. To ensure compliance by the petitioners, the court had also directed the concerned hospital authority to issue a certificate of compliance, which certificate was to be placed on record by the Investigating Officer (‘I.O.’).
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits, that the I.O. has placed on record Compliance Report dated 26.09.2024 enclosing Certificate dated 25.09.2024 received from the hospital which confirms receipt of 30 sets of glucometers alongwith 30 sets of glucometers strips from the petitioners. It is stated that since the cost of the glucometers was less than Rs. 2,500/- , as directed by the Predecessor Bench, the petitioner had purchased 30 sets of glucometers alongwith 30 sets of glucometer strips to ensure effective compliance of the order.
