The present petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No. 129/2022 dated 09.05.2022 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Vasant Vihar.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vague allegations have been made against the family members of Petitioner No. 1 who was married to Respondent No. 2/ complainant.

He submits that the FIR was registered way back in the year 2022 and all the relevant documents are on record which would categorically show that the complainant was not subjected to any cruelty in regard to the demand of dowry and these have already been submitted with the Investigating Officer.

submits that investigation is being carried out without any delay. He submits that the some of the petitioners are not resident of Delhi due to which the investigation has taken extra time and the same would taken to logical conclusion expeditiously.

He further submits that all the record which has been collected during investigation will be taken note of and a final report will be filed expeditiously.

Considering the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the present petition and approach the Court in case any grievance remains.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
