and the respondent no.2 have been amicably settled. Reference is also made to the order dated 08.11.2023 passed by this Court in Crl. M.C. 4805/2022, titled Ashok Kumar Sharma and Anr v. The State of GNCT of Delhi and Anr.; and Crl. M.C.3785/2023, titled Sanjay Shriwastav v. State and Anr. , wherein this court had recorded similar submission made even on behalf of the counsel for the ICICI Bank. 4. Keeping in view the settlement of the disputes between the parties and the principles enunciated by the Supreme Court in Gian Singh v. State of Punjab , (2012) 10 SCC 303, Parbathai Aahir @ Parbatbhai Bimsinh Karmur & Ors. v. State of Gujarat & Ors. , (2017) 9 SCC 641 and State of Haryana & Ors. v. Bhajan Lal & Ors. 1992 Supp (1) SCC 335, I find that no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the criminal proceedings as it would be an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. 5. Accordingly, FIR No.441/2005 registered at Police Station: Connaught Place, New Delhi under Sections 419/420/467/468/471/120-B of the IPC, along with all other proceedings emanating therefrom, qua the petitioner are quashed. 6. The petition is allowed in the above terms.
