Present application has been filed by the Respondent Nos.1 & 2 / Applicants seeking extension of time of six months granted to the DRT-II, Delhi in deciding the SA/356/2023 by this Court vide order dated 20^th May, 2024.

Learned counsel for the Applicants states that order dated 20^th May, 2024 passed by this Court was brought to the notice of DRT-II on 14^th October, 2024 for the first time. He states that as the time for passing the judgment is expiring today, a reasonable time should be given to the Tribunal to decide the matter. He assures this Court that he shall commence

his final arguments forthwith and will not seek any adjournment before the Tribunal.

Per contra , learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the order dated 20^th May, 2024 passed by this Court had been placed on record before the DRT-II on 24^th May, 2024. He has taken this Court through various orders passed by DRT-II which show that the delay is entirely attributable to the Respondent Nos.1 & 2 / Applicants.

Keeping in view the aforesaid fact this Court is not inclined to extend the time for passing the judgment, yet in the interest of justice the time for passing the judgment is extended by two months on the conditions that the Tribunal would not adjourn the matter at the request of either of the parties and would proceed ahead with the final hearing on a day-to-day basis.

With the aforesaid direction, the present application stands disposed
