Present public interest petition has been filed challenging the Circular notified on 12^th March, 2024 on the ground that it is contrary to the order dated 06^th December, 2023 passed by this Court in W.P. (C) No. 15673/2023 as well as being contrary to the provisions of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and the freedoms guaranteed under Articles 19 (1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India. The Petitioner further prays for stay on operation of the impugned circular.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the impugned Circular dated 12^th March, 2024 is violative of order dated 06^th December, 2023 passed by this Court as respondent no.2 has imposed a ban on twenty three different breeds of dogs of exotic species without consulting and inviting objections and suggestions of "all stakeholders".

This Court is already considering a similar issue in W.P.(C) No.4460/2024.

Consequently, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an impleadment/intervention application in the already pending PIL (W.P.(C) No.4460/2024), as multiple petitions on the same issue would only create complications and delay the disposal of the cause. 5. At this stage, attention of this Court has been drawn to writ petitions being W.P.(C) No.4374/2024 and W.P.(C) No.4653/2024 filed by individuals on the same cause of action. The said writ petitions are transferred to this Court and directed to be listed along with W.P.(C) No.4460/2024 on 09^th April, 2024.

Registry is directed to communicate the next date of hearing to the Advocates-on-Record in W.P.(C) No.4374/2024 and W.P.(C) No.4653/2024 forthwith.

The next date of hearing before the learned Single Judge in W.P.(C) No.4374/2024 and W.P.(C) No.4653/2024 stands cancelled.
