The learned counsel appearing for the parties state that the issue, whether this Court ought to entertain this petition, is squarely covered against the petitioner by the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in Aasma Mohammed Farooq & Anr. v. Union of India & Ors.: W.P.(C) 12494/2018, decided on 05.12.2018 .

1. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate court. However, the interim order passed in the present petition would continue to operate for a further period of six weeks from today as this Court is informed that the concerned High Court is currently on vacation.
