Petitioner is a Lower Division Clerk (for short LDC) with first respondent who claims to be working on the post of Librarian since the year 2004 and vide letter of 2^nd August, 2013, petitioner had sought promotion to the post of Librarian which was followed by Reminder (Annexure P-10) on 22^nd August, 2016. According to petitioner’s counsel, despite Reminder (Annexure P-10) , there is no response to petitioner’s Representation of 2^nd August, 2013 (Annexure P-5) .

To seek relief as sought in this petition, petitioner had approached the Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi, but his Original Application was dismissed for want of jurisdiction vide order of 5^th January, 2018.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that Kushal Singh Bisht has been promoted from the post of LDC to the post of Store-Keeper whereas petitioner is not being promoted to the post of Librarian despite being fully eligible to be promoted to the said post.

Despite service of advance notice, none appears on behalf of respondents.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with permission to petitioner to make a concise Representation to first respondent within a week from today and if such Representation is received, then first respondent shall deal with it and pass a speaking order thereon within a period of six weeks and the fate of the Representation be made known to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.

First respondent be apprised of this Order forthwith to ensure its compliance.

With aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of. Dasti.
