Ms. Lakshmi, learned counsel for the respondents states on instructions that Standing Screening Committee is examining the case of both the petitioners and the decision taken shall be communicated to them within six weeks from today.
In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the respondents, they are granted six weeks time to communicate the decision taken on the petitioners' representations for withdrawal of their provisional appointment that is pending consideration before the Standing Screening Committee, under written intimation to them.
If the grievance of the petitioners still survives, then they shall be at liberty to seek legal recourse, as may be advised.
The petitions are disposed of.
