As far as the merits of these proceedings are concerned, the Court is satisfied that no public interest is involved. The proceedings appear to have been motivated by private vendetta against third party i.e. tenant of the petitioner’s nephew whose premises were directed to be evicted in proceedings, that led to eviction. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed. All the pending applications stand disposed off.
