Notice. Ms Nandita Rao, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Crl.), accepts notice and states, on instructions from SI Sandeep Kumar, Police Station- Karawal Nagar, that in view of the circumstance that the petitioners who are both adults have married each other of their own free will and volition and are apprehending threats to their life and limb at the hands of the family of petitioner No.1, police shall afford adequate protection to them. The beat constable of the concerned area shall be sensitized in this behalf and the telephone numbers of the concerned SHO as well as the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioners so as to enable the latter to contact them in the event of any threat or apprehension.
Ordered accordingly.
With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of.
A copy of this order be given dasti under signature of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
