This is a petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking directions to respondents to comply with the office memorandum dated 30.09.2009 issued by Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions as well as notification dated 23.09.2014 of Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Insurance-I Section, regarding transfer of female employees to distant locations.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner joined as a direct recruited officer in the cadre of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) at Head Office (Technical) Delhi on 01.08.1984. After promotion

the petitioner was transferred from Regional Office-II to Regional Office-I, New Delhi. He also submits that vide order dated 30.10.2015, the respondent has transferred the petitioner at Regional Office, Lucknow.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn my attention to the office of memorandum dated 23.09.2014 issued by Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, Insurance-I Section with regard to Transfer/ Posting of female employees in Public Sector Insurance Companies. He further submits that the petitioner made a representation dated 13.11.2015 which is still pending.

Mr. R.S. Mathur, learned counsel for respondent No.1, on instructions, submits that respondent No.1 will decide the petitioner’s representation dated 13.11.2015 within a period of one week after considering the policy dated 23.09.2014 issued by Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Mr. M. Tarique Siddique, learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the aforesaid and submits that the petition may be disposed of. 7. In view of the above, the writ petition as well as application are disposed of with the direction to respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner’s representation dated 13.11.2015 within a period of one week after taking into consideration the policy dated 23.09.2014 issued by Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
