In view of these submissions, the petition is allowed and the FIR No.162 of 2009 under Sections 498A/406 IPC registered with police station Nareia and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners are cancelled and their sureties discharged.
