1. The petitioners have preferred instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief(s):-
“10.1 Call for records of the DPC proceedings as also the ACRs of the respondents concerned herein from the possession of the respondents for kind perusal and appreciation of the grievance of the petitioners herein.
10.2 Issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus and quash order dated 25.04.2023 (Annexure P/1), whereby the private respondents herein holding lower or junior positions to the petitioners in the gradation list for the post of Executive Engineer as on 01.04.2022 have been promoted to that of Superintendent Engineer surpassing them in a most arbitrary and illegal manner.
10.3 Issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus and direct the respondents to hold a review DPC as on 03.04.2023 for promotion from the post of Executive Engineer to that of Superintendent Engineer considering the remarks made in the ACR with a pragmatic approach uniformly for all in view of the period of pandemic having passed by in between in view of the application of criteria of rit-cum-seniority' for such promotion.
10.4 Grant any other relief, which is deemed fit in the circumstances of the case.”
2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this petition has become infructuous as promotion has already been granted to the petitioners.

4. In view of the above submission, this petition is dismissed as having
become infructuous.
