Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs.

“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to conclude the recruitment process of Mechanical Engineering Branch expeditiously within a stipulated time period.

10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to issue the appointment order to the petitioner expeditiously.

10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to decide the representations of the petitioner within a stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Hon’ble Court.

10.4 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including the costs of the petition.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that pursuant to the advertisement issued on 15.09.2022 petitioner has submitted an application for appointment on the post of Junior Engineer Mechanical. After completion of the recruitment proceedings name of petitioner has been placed in the select list of Junior Engineer Mechanical. He submits that in the same recruitment other posts were also published. However, except the Junior Engineer Mechanical post recruitment proceedings of all other branch have been completed but the appointment order of Junior Engineer Mechanical Post has not been issued of the selected candidates. He further submits that petitioner has already submitted representation before respondent no. 2, however, till date no decision has been taken, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner and conclude the recruitment proceedings.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the grievance of the petitioner is against respondent no. 2 for whom she is not appearing.

On due consideration of nature of grievance raised, submission made by learned counsel for respective parties and also to the fact that petitioner has already submitted a representation before respondent no. 2 on 08.05.2025 vide Annexure P-9 which till date is pending consideration, this writ petition at this stage is dispose off, directing Respondent no. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner, in accordance with law, within a further period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of the Order.
