The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:-

“10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus direcitng the respondents to forthwith release the entire retiral dues of the petitioner including pension, GPF/EPF, gratuity, leave encashment and all other admisible benefits with interest @ 12% per annum (or such higher rate as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit) from the date of retirement i.e. 30.09.2024 till the date of actual payment.

10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to pay the costs of this petition to the petitioner.

10.2 Any other relief/relief’s, which this Hon’ble Court may think fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also please be granted to the petitioner.”

Learned counsel for the Respondents/State submits that she has sought instructions in the matter and according to her instructions, pension payment order has been released on 30.04.2026 and further, the amount of gratuity is also ordered to be released on 30.04.2026.

Learned counsel for Respondent handed-over both the orders to the counsel for petitioner during the course of hearing.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the submissions made and the documents handedover to him, he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to repeat the prayer if any exigency arises in future.

In view of the submissions made by the counsel for petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
