1, Instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been

preferred seeking following reliefs :-

10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioners for kind perusal of this Hon’ble court.

10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No. 6 to 11, who encroached the said land without any permission, lease, and settlement of revenue tax therefore dispossessed to them.

10.3 Any other relief (s) which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit an proper may also be granted in favour of the petitioner together with the cost of the petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners are resident of village Panchayat Bakhtara, Patwari Halka No. 12, RNM Mandir Hasoud,

Tahsil Arang, District : Raipur. He further submits that earlier Sarpanch of that village has allotted lease pertaining to the grass land bearing Khasra Nos. 1443, 1446, 450, 446, 346/1, 347, 1436, 1446 and 1446 to various persons for various purposes without any authority of law, therefore, present Sarpanch (petitioner No.1 ) of village Panchayat : Baktara, Tahsil Arang, District Raipur has filed an application before Collector, Raipur and other respondents/revenue authorities dated 6.2.2026 (Annexure P-1) to take appropriate action pertaining the aforesaid illegal act of earlier Sarpanch, but no action / decision has been taken on the said application dated 6.2.2026 by respondents authorities, therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at this stage, this petition may be disposed of directing District Collector, Raipur / respondent No. 2 to decide the application dated 6.2.2026 filed by present Sarpanch – Devki Bai Tandan (petitioner No. 1) within a specific time frame.

3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to allow the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner.

Having considered the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2 – Collector, Raipur to take appropriate decision on the application dated 6.20.2026 filed by petitioner No. 1 – Devki Bai Tandan, present Sarpanch, village Panchayat : Baktara, Tahsil Arang, District Raipur expeditiously preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt /submission of copy of this order in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observations & directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No cost (s).
