1. Heard Mr. Shashwat Gupta, Advocate on behalf of Mr. Anmol Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Ajay Kumar Pandey, learned Government Advocate for the State/respondent No.1 and Dr. Sudeep Kumar Agrawal, Advocate for respondents No.2 and 3.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following relief(s):-

“ 10.1 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record pertaining to the case of the petitioners.

10.2. The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation submitted by petitioner dated 07.01.2023 and to pass a reasoned order allowing petitioner to correct his application form and be permitted to appear in the examination.

10.3. The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to extend the benefit of age relaxation to the petitioner as per Rule 5 (C)(b)(14) and 5(C) (b)(17) of the State Service Examination Rules issued with the advertisement.

10.4. The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to kindly permit the petitioner to make correction in the Date of birth of the petitioner in State Service Examination-2022 form in accordance with Law or permit the petitioner to fill the Exam Form afresh.

10.5. Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper may also be awarded to the petitioners including the cost of the petition.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by efflux of time, instant writ petition has become infructuous.
