By the present writ petition, the petitioner who is owner of agricultural land, preferred the instant writ petition seeking a direction towards the respondents’ authority, particularly to the

Collector, Rajnandgaon to update Online record of agricultural land of the petitioner for sell of paddy. The petitioner is also seeking direction to purchase the crops cultivated by him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation before the Collector, Rajnandgaon for correction in the Online portal in respect of the land of the petitioner for sell of paddy, however, the same has not been done.

Learned counsel for the State submits that though the application has been filed by the petitioner on 28/10/2024, but till date the said application has not been considered and decided by the Collector. He submits that if the application is still pending, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

I have heard counsel for the parties and perused the documents annexed with the writ petition.

In view of the submission made by the counsel for the State, the Collector, Rajnandgaon is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner and necessary steps be taken in accordance with law for correction in the Online Portal i.e. Unified Farmer Portal in respect to the land of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
