After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing this writ petition on merits, and only seeking a direction to respondent no. 4 to take decision on a representation Annexure P-7 dated 25.06.2024 which is still pending consideration.

Learned counsel for State submits that as learned counsel for petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction from the authority to consider and decide his pending representation, he is having no objection. If representation is already submitted before the authority by the petitioner, it will be considered and decided strictly, in accordance with law.

In view of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of, directing concerned authority i.e. the Tahsildar to take decision on pending representation of the petitioner Annexure P/7, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the clam of petitioner. It will be for respondent no. 4 to decide the same on its own merits keeping in mind the decisions on the subject in issue, following due process of law.
