1. With the consent of the parties, the matter is heard finally.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed seeking urgent intervention from this Court to ensure the expeditious completion of a departmental inquiry against the respondent No. 8 & 9. This inquiry initiated on 10.07.2024 stems from a damning report dated 15.06.2024 submitted by the four members investigating team of Janpad Panchayat Saja to respondent No. 5 detailing the misappropriation of government funds, where amounts designated for approved construction projects were withdrawn but the projects were never commenced or completed. Despite nearly one year having passed since the inquiry institution, it remains uncompleted, with no progress report of information provided to the respondent No. 3 thereby hindering accountability and causing significant prejudice to public interest.

3. Learned counsel for respondents opposed the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted under Article 226 of the constitution of India and no ground has been made by the petitioner which warrants interference by this Court.

6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
