The present writ appeal has been filed by the appellant against the order dated 18-03-2025 passed in WPC No.3796 of 2024 with the following prayer:-

“It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the instant Writ Appeal by quashing and setting aside the Impugned Judgment and Final Order passed by the Learned Single Judge of this Hon’ble Court in ‘ Pellet Manufacturers’ Association of India v. State of Chhattisgarh

and Ors.’ being W.P.C. No. 3796 of 2024, in the interest of justice & grant the relief as prayed in the original writ petition”

At the outset, learned Senior Counsel for the appellant/petitioner would submit that the matter is being re-looked into by the State Government, Department of Mineral Resources on the communication /recommendation made by the Directorate of Geology and Mining and he has produced a copy of the communication dated 26 May, 2025 made to the concerned Secretary of the State Government. He would also submit that further decision with respect to the said communication is under consideration before the State Government and therefore, the matter may be disposed of in view of the said communication and liberty may be granted to the appellant/petitioner to challenge the outcome of the said communication dated 26 May, 2025, if so arises.

Learned Advocate General for the State has no objection in such submissions made by the learned counsel for the appellant/petitioner.

In view of the submissions made by the parties concerned, the present writ appeal is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner/appellant to take recourse to law if any further cause of action arises.
