Heard Mr.A.S.Kachhawaha, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Ms.Saumya Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for respondents No.1 & 2 and Mr.S.K.Kushwaha, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the CrPC with the following prayer :-

“It is therefore most humbly prayed that the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the instant petition and the Charge Sheet bearing No.497/2020 for the offence punishable under section 323, 376(2)(<), 506 of IPC arising out of FIR No. 401/2020 registered at P.S. Basna, District-Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh may kindly be quashed in its entirely.”

Learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that the trial is in progress and out of 22 prosecution witnesses, 12 prosecution witnesses have already been examined.

In view of the same, without expressing anything on merits of the case, the trial Court is at liberty to conclude the trial expeditiously.

With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed of.
