1. Heard Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr. Sakib Ahmed, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following relief(s):-

“It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and quash the F.I.R. No.41/2009, Final Report followed by the FIR, and entire criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioners in criminal case no.1089/2009 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Raigarh, District Raigarh (C.G.) for offences punishable under Sections 420, 421, 423, 424, 500, 120B, 34 of Indian Penal Code (as per final report), against the present petitioners, in the interest of justice accordingly.”

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the instant petition has become infructuous as the petitioners have been acquitted by the trial Court vide order dated 31.08.2023.

4. Learned State counsel has endorses the submission advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners.
