1. By the present appeal, the appellant is assailing the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 14/12/2017 passed by the learned Trial Court in Special Criminal Case No.3/2003 for the offence punishable under Section 13(1)(a) r/w 13(2) of Preventin

of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to undergo R.I. for 2 years and fine amount of Rs. 25,000/- with usual default stipulation.
2. Learned counsel for the parties would submit that the appellant died on 20/03/2019. Copy of the death certificate has been produced by the learned State counsel. The same is taken on record.
3. In view of the above, the appeal is dismissed as abated.
