The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief (s) :

“ 10.1 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a suitable writ for quashing/set aside the vide order dated 26.12.2013 (Annexure P/8) passed by respondent No.2 Deputy Secretary Higher Education Department.

10.2 Any other relief, which may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be allowed.”

The petitioner is working as Professor under the respondent authority.

Grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not considering the claim of the petitioner for grant of Rs.10,000/- as AGP.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already submitted representation before the respondent authority for redressal of his grievances of non-payment of Rs.10,000/- towards AGP for which he is entitled as per Chhattisgarh Educational Service (Collegiate Branch, Gazetted) Recruitment Rules, 2019 but till date, the same has not been considered and decided by the respondent authority. He would seek a direction to the respondent authority to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner within specified time.

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that if any representation of the petitioner is pending before the respondent authority, the same will be considered and decided strictly in accordance with law.

I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the documents placed on record.

Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, I find it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing respondents to consider and decide the representation moved by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court. The petitioner would be at liberty to submit a fresh representation if he so desire along with copy of order passed by this Court.

In view of the above, writ petition stands disposed of .
