Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 16.07.1998, petitioner was initially appointed as ‘Shiksha Karmi, Grade -II’. Vide order dated 16.03.2023 (Annexure P/1), petitioner has already been granted revised pay scale w.e.f 01.05.2005, but till date arrears of said revised pay scale has not been extended to him. Hence, a direction be issued to the concerned respondent - authority to release the arrears of revised pay scale.

Learned State Counsel submits that till date petitioner has not submitted any representation in this regard before the concerned respondentauthority.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner may be permitted to submit representation before respondent No.3 and in turn respondent No.3 be directed to consider and decide the same at the earliest within specified time fixed by this Court.

Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.

Considering facts of the case, submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, without commenting on merits of this case, writ petition is disposed of at this stage giving liberty to petitioner to submit representation regarding payment of arrears of revised pay scale before respondent No.3, within ' three weeks ' from today.
