The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following

prayers:

“ I To kindly call for the records of the case from the respondents.

ii. To kindly quash the impugned order dated 06/03/2013(AnexureP/1) issued by the Electricity Ombudsman, Raipur Chhattisgarh in Case No. 0/2013.

iii To kindly set aside the order of the Electricity Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum dated 07/01/2013 to the extent it does not provide proper relief to the petitioner (Annexure P/2).

iv. To kindly direct the respondent No. 1 and 2 to consider the application of the petitioner for change of Tariff Category from 33 kv HV 1.1 to 33 kv 4.1 in accordance with the applicable procedure from the date of application i.e. 27/07/2011 and pass suitable orders.

V. To kindly direct the respondent No. 1 and 2 to pass appropriate orders regarding refunds of Rs. 1190372.00 with interest to the petitioner in the event his application for change of Tariff Category is allowed by the respondent No. 1 and 2.

vi. To kindly make any other order that may be deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including the costs of the petition to be paid to the petitioner from the respondents no. 1 and 2.”

3. In the aforesaid facts, there is no other option left but to dismiss the petition for want of prosecution.

4. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution .
