1. By way of the instant petition, the petitioner has sought the following relief(s):-

“10.1. That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a suitable writ and to direct the respondent No. 02 Junior Engineer, C.G. Power Distribution Company Limited, Distribution Tulsi, Tehsil Tilda- Newra District- Raipur (C.G.) to provide the electricity connection to the petitioner.

10.2. That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ and call for the entire records.

10.3 Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem and proper in the present circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after purchase of a plot bearing survey No. 574 admeasuring 120 sq. meters at village Tulsi Tehsil TildaNewra, District- Raipur, on 04.06.2020, the petitioner moved an application for electricity connection before respondent No. 2/The Junior Engineer, Chhattisgarh Power Distribution Company Ltd. on 05.02.2023 but till date, the electricity connection has not been supplied. He would also submit that a certificate of regularization has already been issued in favour of the petitioner by the Town & Country Planning on 05.10.2023, therefore, he prays for a direction to respondent No. 2 to provide an electricity connection.

3. On the other hand, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 would submit that if the petitioner makes a representation along with the requisite documents, the same shall be considered strictly in accordance with law.

4. Mr. Keshav Gupta, learned State Counsel opposes the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents available on record.

Taking into consideration the limited grievance of the petitioner to the effect that the electricity connection has not been provided to the petitioner despite regularization order passed by Deputy Director, Town and Country Planning due to a complaint made by respondent No. 3/complainant – Keshav Vaishnav on 26.05.2023, the present petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to move a fresh application/representation before respondent No. 2 who, in turn, shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with

law expeditiously preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a

certified copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the instant Writ Petition is disposed of.
