Since, common facts and grounds involved in both the writ petitions, they are being considered and disposed off by this common order.

The petitioners filed the instant writ petitions seeking a direction to the respondent authorities for re-allotment of premises from where they were evicted. The petitioners also sought a direction towards the respondent authorities to construct flats at the place of petitioners’ occupancy premises.

At the very outset, Shri Pankaj Agrawal, learned counsel appearing for the Corporation, on instructions, would submit that during pendency of these petitions the petitioners have been rehabilitated in BSUP Flats situated at Saddu (Sajjandas C.G. Housing Board Complex).

Since, the petitioners have already been rehabilitated in the aforesaid Housing Board Complex, the petitions have become infructuous.

¶89

Accordingly, both the writ petitions are disposed off as having become infructuous.

¶90

However, it is made clear that if the grievances of the petitioners still survives they are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievances.
