Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner in her tenure of elected Sarpanch, has done the work under the Government scheme, according to direction issued by the competent authority. After completion of the work, petitioner has submitted the bills for release of the payment towards work already completed by her. However, the bills submitted by the petitioner is not considered till date even after lapse of four years. When petitioner approached the concerned authorities, they stated that for technical reason payment is not being released. He contended that petitioner has already made payment to the persons from whom the material is purchased as also labour payment and therefore payment towards the work done and completed has to be made.

Learned counsel for the State submits that as per the instructions received by him, the claim of the petitioner along with others is under consideration and payment will be released expeditiously.

Considering the submission of learned counsel for the parties and the nature of grievance raised in this writ petition that the petitioner has already completed the work as ordered by the competent authority as early as in the year 2018-19, bills have also been submitted within that period, however, even after

lapse of about more than four years amount has not been released in favour of the petitioner, instead of keeping this writ petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose it off directing respondents No. 2 to 5 to consider the claim of the petitioner and release the undisputed bill amount at the earliest preferably with a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of order of this Court.

It is ordered accordingly. The petition stands disposed off.
