Learned counsel for the applicants would submit that during pendency of

the writ petition Dena Bank has been merged with Bank of Baroda and this fact could not be brought to the notice of the Court at the time of hearing of writ petition. Learned counsel for the applicants would submit that he has Annexured A/2 along with the present MCC, notification issued by Ministry

of Finance, Department of Financial Services by which it has been ordered that the Dena Bank is merged with Bank of Baroda, therefore, cause title of petition may be amended.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, a strong case for allowing of MCC has been made out.

Accordingly, order dated 11.07.2022 in WPL No. 20 of 2018 stands modified and in the cause title where the name of The chairman cum Managing Director, Dena Bank Corporate Centre, C-10, G-Block, Bhandra Kurla Complex Bhandra (E), Mumbai, be read as The Chairman, Bank of Baroda, Head Office, Baroda House, Mandvi, Baroda (Gujrat) and The Zonal Manager, Dena Bank, Regional Office Lic Building Pandri, Raipur be read as The Deputy Zonal Manager, Bank of Baroda,Regional office (Raipur), Jeevan Prakash, Jeevan Bima Marg, Raipur and rest of the order passed in WPL No. 20 of 2018 on 11.07.2022 by this Court shall remain intact.
