1. The matter is listed in default today.
2. It has been informed by the counsel for appellant that the present appeal is one which has been filed through the High Court Legal Aid Services Committee.
3. However, perusal of records would show that the appellant has already filed an appeal i.e. CRA No.2028/2022.
4. Given the fact that the appellant has already preferred an appeal i.e. Criminal Appeal No.2028/2022, there is no point in pursuing the present appeal. The present appeal accordingly stands rejected.
5. However, counsel for appellant would be at liberty to put her appearance in CRA No.2028/2022 if the appellant still wants her to assist the Court. The default pointed out by the Registry would also stand ignored and the appeal stands rejected.
