1. The First, Second & Third bail applications under Section 439 of CrPC of the applicant were dismissed on merits by the coordinate Bench of this Court.

The applicant has preferred this Fourth Bail Application under Section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 as he is in jail since 06.07.2018 in connection with Crime No. F.No. DRI/MZU/NRU/INT-87/2018, registered by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Nagpur (MS), for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20, 28, 29 of NDPS Act.

1. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail since 06.07.2018 but the trial has not been concluded. He prays for a direction to the concerned Special Court (NDPS Act) to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.

1. Considering the facts & circumstances of the case, looking to the pre-trial detention of the applicant, in the interest of justice, one last opportunity is granted to the prosecution agency to conclude the trial within a stipulated time. It is directed that the concerned Special Judge (NDPS Act) to make all possible endeavours to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of 4 months. With this observations, the application is disposed of.
