The second petitioner is the paternal aunt of the first petitioner and both the petitioners are in custody for about 165 days. Allegation against them is that they facilitated the abduction and murder of the victim who is the erstwhile husband of the first petitioner. The main thrust of the allegation is against the husband of the first petitioner and his accomplices. The case against the petitioners rests primarily on circumstantial evidence. It is alleged that the petitioners left the house allowing the victim to remain alone in the house to facilitate his abduction and murder. The extent of involvement of the petitioners in the alleged offence shall be determined in the light of the evidence adduced during trial.
