The Court : It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners after considering the report filed by the Officer-in-Charge, Burrabazar Police Station dated 30th March, 2023 and the report of the Deputy Chief Engineer (Building)/North dated 30th March, 2023 being counter-signed by the Assistant Engineer (Civil)/Building that no demolition work at the present is going on. It is also submitted by the alleged contemnor that they have not carried out any demolition work in violation of the orders passed by this Court and in fact, there is no demolition work subsequent to the passing of the order dated 24th February, 2023 passed in GA 1 of 2023 filed in CS 309 of 2022.

Considering the submissions made by the parties and the reports filed, the contempt proceeding is dropped and the contempt application is disposed of without any further orders.
