The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following reliefs:-

“(a) That this Hon’ble Court be pleased to issue writ of Mandamus or any other writ, order or direction calling for the record and proceedings of said complaint dated 10.04.2006 and also letter dated 22.05.2025 seeking investigation and direct the Investigation officer of the Respondent No.1 to complete the investigation and file the chargesheet against the Respondent No.2;

(b) To issue a Writ of Mandamus or a Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, ordering and directing the Respondents to complete the investigation and file

Mr. Aurelius D’Silva, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 10^th April 2006 the petitioner lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Respondent No. 1 (CBI) against the respondent no.2. He points out that closure reports filed on two earlier occasions, namely on 30^th November 2010 and 1^st August 2013 were rejected by the learned Special Judge (CBI). The present petition seeks a direction to the Investigating Officer of the respondent no.1 to conduct further investigation on the ground that the investigation has not been properly completed.

Mr. Amit Munde, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 1 and 3 (CBI and ACB), states that a closure report has since been filed and is presently pending consideration before the learned Special Court.

In view of the above, nothing survives for consideration in the present petition. Writ Petition No. 6847 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of as infructuous.
