Mr. Patil, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, has tendered a communication addressed by the Chief Medical Officer, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Shatabdi Hospital, Govandi Mumbai, to the Assistant Law Officer of the Municipal Corporation which discloses that the hospital requires one USG machine, the cost of which can be approximately Rs.12,00,000/- (Rs. Twelve Lakhs only) inclusive of 3 years warranty and 5 years of Comprehensive Maintenance Contract.

Mr. Patil submitted that the Petitioner-Corporation is willing to transfer the said amount of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rs. Twelve Lakhs only) to the account of Chief Medical Officer, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Shatabdi Hospital, Govandi, Mumbai.

Ms. Rajani, the learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 concurs with the aforesaid proposal.

Since the object of awarding compensation was to ameliorate the situation of the patients who approach Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Shatabdi Hospital, Govandi, Mumbai, that objective would be better achieved if the amount of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rs.
