The Petition challenges order dated 20 November 2025 passed by the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies ( Deputy Registrar ) under provisions of Section 77(A) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 appointing an Authorized Officer for looking after affairs of the Society. The impugned order has been stayed by this Court by order dated 27 January 2026. In the meantime, parties have amicably resolved the disputes amongst them and decided to settle the dispute in view of the fact that the Society is undertaking redevelopment of their building.

Ms. Naikare, the learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 1 to 8, submits that the Society has now issued share certificates as well as no-dues certificates in favour of Respondent Nos. 1 to 8, on account of which they have no objections with regard to the management of the Society. Respondent Nos. 1 to 8, at whose instance the impugned order is passed, have consented for setting aside the impugned order.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, following order is passed:

(i) Order dated 20 November 2025 passed by the Deputy Registrar is set aside.

Writ Petition is allowed in above terms and disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
