The applicant-wife has filed the present application seeking transfer of Hindu Marriage Petition bearing No.164/2025 from the file of learned Family Court at Amravati to learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Wardha. The applicantwife is staying at Wardha. The respondent-husband is staying at Amravati along with a son, who is around 16 years of age. The applicant is a housewife and respondent is in private employment drawing salary of around Rs.15000 to 17000/- per month.

Having regard to the fact that applicant is a housewife and husband who is working in private establishment, will have to take leave in order to attend proceeding at Wardha, which will cause financial loss to him. In the considered opinion of this Court, no case is made out for transfer of proceeding from Amravati to Wardha. The distance between two town is hardly around 120 k.m.
