It is contention of learned counsel for the Applicant that, the Applicant is an Engineering student. He is behind bar for more than three years. There is no progress in trial. The Applicant has no antecedent, and requested to allow the Application.

It is contention of learned APP that, the co-accused and the Applicant had kidnapped the minor son of the First Informant for ransom. If Applicant released on bail, he may abscond or threaten the First Informant and prosecution witnesses, and requested to reject the Application.

I have heard both learned counsel. Perused charge-sheet and documents produced on record.

The Applicant is an Engineering student. He has no antecedent. He is behind bar for more than three years. There is no progress in Trial. It may take time to conclude the trial.

Considering these facts, I pass following order.

ORDER

(i) The Applicant-Akash Bhaskar Darade be released

on bail in Crime No.09 of 2023 registered with Sinnar

Police Station, Nashik, on furnishing PR bond of

Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like

amount.

(ii) The Applicant shall not tamper with the evidence and/or influence the prosecution witnesses.

(iv) Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
