The only relief as prayed for in this petition is that the respondent

no.1 be directed to pass orders on the petitioner’s application filed under Section 41A of the Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950. From the memo of the petition, we are pointed out that this application was filed on 18 April 2023. It was finally heard on 29 February 2024 and till date orders are not passed.

Our attention is drawn to the fact that the proceedings were listed on 7 March 2024, 18 March 2024, 3 April 2024, 15 April 2024, 24 April 2024, 10 June 2024, 2 July 2024, 5 August 2024, 21 August 2024, 23 September 2024, 18 October 2024, 25 October 2024, 14 December

2024, 20 January 2025, 10 February 2025, 17 February 2025 and 17 March 2025 i.e. on 17 dates, however, till date no orders have been passed. We are informed that now the proceedings are adjourned for tomorrow i.e.

2 April 2025.

We cannot countenance that when the proceedings were finally heard by the learned Assistant Charity Commissioner on 29 February 2024 and thereafter, when the proceedings were listed on several dates as noted by us, orders have not been pronounced.

In this view of the matter, without delving into the merits of the rival contentions, we direct respondent no.1 to pronounce the orders on the petitioner’s application within a period of two weeks from today. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open.

Disposed of in terms of the above directions. No costs.
