Succession Certificate granted — Testamentary Petition No. 19 TP/3491/2025 (E-filing) — Petitioner Allwyn Joe Diss, son of the deceased, sought a Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to Deceased No. 1 Alex Estevan Dias, who died intestate at Mumbai on 06.08.2013, and Deceased No. 2 Fermine Alex Dias, who died intestate at Mumbai on 18.10.2018. Each deceased was survived by two sons and one daughter: the petitioner, another son Jude (who filed his consent affidavit through Power of Attorney holder Alwyn Dias) and a daughter who consented in favour of the petitioner; consent affidavits were on record and there were no other legal heirs. Death certificates and identification proofs (Election Card for Deceased No. 1; Aadhaar Card for Deceased No. 2) were annexed; the petitioner's oath, the Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 31.07.2025 and the Administration Bond dated 19.09.2025 were filed; delay was explained and condoned. Mrs. Kavita Y. Ambekar, Company Registrar / Testamentary Registrar, held that all legal formalities were complied with, granted the petition, and directed the Office to issue the Succession Certificate as prayed after verifying whether any cross petition or Affidavit opposing the grant had been filed.
