2. The grievance of the petitioners is in regard to illegal allotment of slum tenements as undertaken by respondent no. 2 in respect of which the petitioners are stated to have many complaints. However, such complaints have not been considered much less decided. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the only prayer as made by the petitioners is granted.

3. We dispose of this petition with a direction to respondent no. 2-Chief Executive Officer, Slum Rehabilitation Authority to decide the representations

of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of four weeks from today. This shall be done after the petitioners are heard on the representations and by a reasoned order. All contentions of the petitioners
