The limited grievance raised by the Petitioner-Society in the present petition is about the Divisional Joint Registrar pre-poning the date of hearing and taking up the Revision filed by Respondent No.3 for hearing on 7 May 2024 and closing the same for orders. It is Petitioner’s case that when the Revision was listed on 27 February 2024, the same was adjourned to 24 June 2024. That on 7 May 2024, the Revision was not listed and the same

was taken up on board by the Divisional Joint Registrar on a praceipe filed by Respondent No.3.

The Revision filed by Respondent No.3 challenges Order dated 18 September 2023 passed by the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies. Since the Revision has been pending for a considerable period of time, it is appropriate that the Divisional Joint Registrar offers proper opportunity of hearing to the parties. Accordingly, the Divisional Joint Registrar shall take up the Revision for hearing on 24 June 2024 or on such other date thereafter as may be convenient to him and hear the contesting parties before closing the Revision for orders. All the points raised by the contesting parties on merits are kept open.

3) With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
