1. Mr. Gauraj Shah, the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners invites our attention to the communication dated 14^th October 2022 issued by the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Mumbai City, Slum Rehabilitation Authority (“ SRA ”), Mumbai to Respondent No. 3-Developer, by which the developer was directed to reserve 112 rehab tenements with exact tenement numbers for the purpose of conduct of lottery in respect of 120 eligible slum dwellers.

2. The grievance of Petitioners is that in the lottery conducted on 15^th May 2024, the tenements included in the list appended to the letter dated 14^th

October 2022 were not taken up for allotment and the lottery has been conducted in respect of some other tenements.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No. 3-Developer as well as the learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No. 2-SRA seek time to take instructions.

4. List the petition for further consideration on 19^th June 2024 (as directed earlier).

5. Till the next date of hearing, the SRA shall not issue allotment letters only to Petitioner Nos. 3, 4, 7, 8, 12, 14, 17, 24, 28, 29, 31, 36, 38, 41, 44, 45, 53, 59, 76, 78, 90 & 98 in pursuance of the lottery conducted by it on 15^th May 2024.

6. It is clarified that so far as the other slum dwellers are concerned, there is no embargo on SRA for issuance of the allotment letters.
