. In all these petitions, the petitioners are merely seeking the direction to the respondent/competent authority to accept their original caste/tribe certificates which are in incorrect format and to issue a fresh caste/tribe certificates in correct form ‘C’.

We dispose of the petitions directing the petitioners to appear before the respondent/competent authority on 22.10.2024. He shall allow them to surrender their original caste/tribe certificates.

¶44

The competent authority thereafter shall verify genuineness of the certificates and if those are found to be genuine issue fresh tribe certificates in the prescribed format ‘C’ on or before 25.10.2024.
