1 Ms. Pratima Pramod Agham has appeared through video conferencing. Her identity is confirmed by Ms. Kakade who has placed on record copy of the Adhar card. Ms. Agham confirms the position that she does not wish to press accusation against the accused. She would pray for withdrawal of Criminal Appeal No.632 of 2021. Accordingly, Criminal Appeal No.632 of 2021 is disposed of as withdrawn.
2 So far as Criminal Appeal No.244 of 2024 is concerned, the same seeks pre-arrest bail in respect of Pranay Sakharam Jarande by challenging the order dated 8 October 2020 passed by the learned Special Judge in Criminal Bail Application No.2702 of 2020. The Appellant is already under interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 10 December 2020. In view of the willingness expressed by the first informant not to press the accusation against the accused, in my view interim protection granted in favour of the Appellant deserves to be made absolute. Criminal Appeal No.244 of 2024 is accordingly allowed by setting aside the order dated 8 October 2020 passed by Special Judge in Criminal Bail Application No.2702 of 2020. Interim protection granted by this Court on 10 December 2020 is made absolute.
3 In view of the disposal of the Criminal Appeal No.244 of 2024, the Interim Application Nos.996 of 2024 and 994 of 2024 do not survive and the same are also accordingly disposed of.
