At about 10:30 a.m. he received information about cow slaughter in a house at Kureshi Moholla. He, therefore, proceeded to spot and on the way he met police officer Kolhe and police constables Mule and Khadke. All of them went in a house near Kureshi Moholla. After entering house which consisted of three rooms, they found six cows and three calves tied there. They also came across pieces of flesh and bloodstained water. In another room they saw instrument used for slaughter and in the third room they saw a severed head of a cow and animal hide of 10 to 12 large animals. Thereafter, they came out of the house and saw a mob of 50 to 60 people gathered outside. The mob assaulted informant and Suryasing with fists and kick blows. In the meantime, one unknown person hurled brick towards informant which caused him injury. Police rescued them. Informant and Suryasing ran away from the spot and went to the Government Hospital.
