1 The only relief sought by way of the above Writ Petition is a direction to the Respondent No.2 – Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner.

2 The Petitioner is working as a Police Naik in the office of the Respondent No. 3 – The Commissioner of Police, Nashik. The tribe claim of the Petitioner is pending since 2012. We, therefore, direct the Respondent No.2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner as belonging to “Thakur” scheduled tribe latest by 31/03/2019. The Petitioner to appear before the Respondent No. 2 – Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar on 1^st November
