3. The petitioner preferred an application for parole on
21.12.2016 on the ground of marriage of his daughter which
is scheduled on 5.2.2017. The application of the petitioner

came to be rejected on account of adverse police report, hence, this petition.
did not report back to the prison in time. However, it is seen that thereafter on 24.9.2012, 07.11.2013, 01.09.2014, 05.06.2015 and 25.05.2016, the petitioner was granted furlough. On all these five occasions, he has reported back to the prison in time. Thus, it is seen that from the year 2012 to 2016, the petitioner has been released on furlough every year and he has reported back to the prison in time. In view of all these facts and the fact that it is admitted that the marriage of the daughter of the petitioner is to take place on
5.2.2017, we are inclined to grant parole for a period of 7 days to the petitioner by way of emergency parole.
